Writer, or wannabe writer, the best way to move forward in your journey is by attending conferences and seminars. I recently saw some marketing for the Colorado Writing Workshop and thought I should pass on the info to you. The event will be held September 8-9 from 9:30-5:00 Mountain time. (All classes are recorded in case you miss them live.)
(** Want to write a book? Here are 13 strategies for productivity. )
The Colorado Writing Workshop two-day conference looks like a great how-to-get-published workshop for folks to explore. The early-bird price is $189, which is a bargain, and there are opportunities for add-ons that you can select like one-on-one meetings with agents and editors, critiques for query letters, and in-depth critiques for the first 10 pages of your novel.
The Colorado Writing Workshop has so much to offer. It's huge to be able to "meet" with literary agents at conferences and to get personal critiques.
According to their website, "This writing event is a wonderful opportunity to get intense instruction over the course of one day, pitch a literary agent or editor (optional), get your questions answered, and more. Note that there are limited online “seats” at the event (200 total).
If you've been thinking of getting serious about your writing, you should consider this event.
